Rooibos is a shrubby, bushy plant that grows in the harsh conditions of the Cedarberg region of South Africa where temperatures range from below zero in winter to around 40°C in summer.
Rooibos contains polyphenol compounds that have anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. They act as scavengers of free radicals throughout the body that can otherwise cause diseases such as cancer and heart disease.

Organic Rooibos is rich in a variety of cell protecting anti-oxidants and contains a broad range of trace minerals including manganese, iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium and phosphate.
Store: Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. In warm climates, refrigeration is recommended.
Shelf Life: Up to 12 months when stored properly.
