Our Certified Organic Brown rice flour is grown biodynamically in Northern NSW of Australia. It is made simply from grinding brown rice kernels into a fine powder. A gluten free flour that is great for baking and can be also used to thicken gravies or sauces.

Brown rice flour is commonly used in gluten free baking for all sorts of recipes. It can be used to bake gluten free breads, cakes, muffins or brownies, and also goes well in pancakes.
We recommend using it in combination with quinoa and white rice flours as a delicious gluten free muffin base.

Organic brown rice flour has many benefits for the body including being a rich source of naturally occurring oils and anti-oxidants. It is high in complex carbohydrates, a good source of fibre and low in fat. This flour is also a great source of the trace mineral selenium, an important anti-oxidant used to protect cells from damage as well as manganese, used in energy production.
