Almond Apricot Yoghurt Bites

From $10.73

The combination of almonds and apricots is very delicious and they are commonly seen together in a variety of recipes including slices, cakes, muffins and muesli bars. Even just eating a handful of almonds with 2 or 3 dried apricots is delicious all on its own and a healthy snack for children and adults alike.

Our almond apricot yoghurt bites go that step further adding the yoghurt component making them even more creamy, sweet and delicious. The bites also contain puffed rice and dried coconut for extra tastiness.

Interesting facts about Almonds:

Almonds are grown across the world with America being the greatest producer, followed by Australia and Spain.  The almond tree actually originated in the middle east and soon spread as far as North Africa and India.  The almond tree produces a fruit that contains the drupe, which is what we know of as the almond.  A drupe may appear to look like a nut but it is not, therefore in botanical terms, almonds aren’t a true nut.
