Organic Medjool Dates

Often referred to as our ‘healthiest sugar alternative’, medjool dates are a delicious fruit from the date palm tree that have been enjoyed for centuries around the world for their decadent sweet flavour. Larger, softer and sweeter then regular dates, medjool dates taste almost caramel like with a creamy texture that has them melt in your mouth. More recently they have been used as a natural sweetener alternative in cooking and baking, and particularly in making raw food recipes.
But that’s just the beginning, medjool’s are also known to prevent constipation, support cholesterol levels and boost bone health. Try adding them to nut balls or tart bases for a little natural sweetness or even adding them to your favourite winter porridge recipe.
Recipe Ideas:
For two great ways to sneak our delicious Medjool dates into your day we recommend our Peanut Butter Granola or Toasted Teff Porridge with Cinnamon and pecans.
