Blanched whole peanuts are a great staple to use in cooking or to snack on their own. Technically they are not a nut, but part of the legume family being related to beans and pulses.
Blanched peanuts offer many health benefits. They are rich in monounsaturated fats, the type of fat found in olive oil that is emphasized in the heart-healthy Mediterranean diet.
