Recipe Ideas:

For a delicious porridge, try cooking 2/3 cup rolled brown rice flakes with 1 cup of almond milk, a teaspoon of maple syrup and some finely slice pear. They also work well in combination with quinoa flakes (as rolled quinoa has a stronger flavour that takes a little getting used too, the rolled brown rice can make it easier to adjust to this high protein gluten free cereal grain). We recommend a 50:50 ratio topped with a little cinnamon, a small sprinkle of your favourite nuts or seeds and a splash of almond or coconut milk.

Rolled brown rice can be easily incorporated into your gluten free baking ingredients list. Try adding into gluten free bread for extra texture and fibre, or into healthy muffins.

They can also be used to make a homemade gluten free bircher muesli.
